This gives us access to 72 lens designs, satisfying the different visual requirements of our patients. Essilor offer ongoing support and training and ensures our staff keep up to date with the latest lens technology.
Our single vision lenses are of the best quality and come standard with a scratch coating and UV coating. These lenses provide a single focus for either distance, computer or reading.
Any patient wishing to enhance their near vision can take advantage of our expertise and talk to us about the "Interview" lens. This lens design removes the limitations of reading glasses and extends the near vision range. If you use a computer, play a musical instrument or work behind a desk and hate taking your glasses on and off to see clearly then this extended focus lens is a perfect choice for you.
Our progressive lenses use freeform technology which allows greater accuracy and a much higher level of precision. This means ease of adaptation, wider view, sharper vision, maximum comfort and will suit all wearers. Our progressive lenses allow for smooth transition between intermediate and near zones and offer stable vision whilst in motion whatever your lifestyle. Swimming sensations are greatly reduced with freeform technology.
This coating improves vision, reduces eye strain and makes your eyeglasses look more attractive. These benefits are due to the ability of the coating to virtually eliminate reflections from the front and back surfaces of your lenses.
These lenses have a photo-chromatic tint which is sensitive to the amount of sunlight present in the surroundings. The lenses are clear indoors and tinted outdoors and the level of tint changes automatically. This tint is avalable in gray, brown and graphite green. They are ideal for sun protection as they block 100% of UVA and UVB rays.
Polarised sunglass lenses act like a visual filter for your eyes making every situation where the sun is present look clearer and richer. By blocking blinding glare polarised lenses can make driving safer. Variable tinted lenses only reduce the light being transmitted they do not block glare. Polarised sunglasses protect you from UVA and UVB light and allow the true colours and contrast to improve.
